Raffle Coordinators - Karen Hoskins & Robin Dahl-Imel
2014 raffle earned $2,620
Raffle notes
The 2014 raffle was for 2 $500 cash prizes. The 2013 raffle was for a $1,000 cash prize.
In 2014, $200 in tickets was sold pregame before the drawing.
Tickets are $10 each.
Begin raffle in June (before Troy Days) - hand out raffle packets to the boys at summer training.
Idea: following training and packet hand out sit down and have a phone-a-thon to fill out the sales sheets.
Put press releases in newspapers.
Prepare packets for boys with 16 tickets each.
Each boy should sell a minimum of 16 tickets. This will net for example 16x20 boys=320 or $3,200. Less the $1,000 prize is $2,200 for the team.
End raffle at one of the first home games. Have the drawing at half time by a neutral party - the announcer is good. Ask the crowd if they are ready to win $500!
